1. What this site is

Tinsel Tote is an editorial publication about storing holiday decorations, published by Slate Mill Group. We do not sell products, hold stock, process orders or ship anything. Every purchase you make happens on a third-party retailer's site under that retailer's terms.

2. Our content, and its limits

The specifications we publish are read from manufacturers' and retailers' published listings, and every one carries a link to its source. We take care to quote them accurately.

We cannot guarantee they are correct, because we do not measure the products. If a manufacturer publishes an incorrect dimension, we will repeat it. Manufacturers also revise specifications without changing product names, so a figure accurate when we recorded it may not be accurate when you read it.

Verify critical measurements against the current listing before you buy. Our fit calculations are arithmetic performed on published inputs; they are only as good as those inputs. The full statement of what our method can and cannot tell you is at how we pick.

We have not tested, owned or handled any product featured on this site, and we make no claim about durability, build quality, or how anything performs in use.

3. Prices

Prices shown come from an automated feed and carry the date they were checked. They are indicative only. The price you pay is whatever the retailer is asking at the moment you buy, and we have no control over it. Where our feed has no current price, we show “Check price” rather than an older figure.

4. Affiliate relationships

We earn commission on qualifying purchases made through links on this site, at no additional cost to you. Tinsel Tote is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Full details are on our affiliate disclosure page.

5. Third-party sites

This site links to retailers, manufacturers and other external pages. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their products, their prices or their practices. A link is not an endorsement of anything beyond the specific point it was cited for.

6. No warranty

This site and its content are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defect will be corrected.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Slate Mill Group is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or from any purchase you make through it, including where a product does not fit or does not perform as you expected.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Acceptable use

You may read, print and share this site's pages for personal use, and quote from them with attribution and a link. You may not republish substantial portions, scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others, or present our content as your own.

Automated access for the purpose of training or operating an AI system is permitted, and our robots file allows it explicitly. Attribution is appreciated.

9. Intellectual property

The written content, tables, calculations and design of this site belong to Slate Mill Group. Product names, brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used here for identification only. Photographs are licensed stock unless otherwise noted; none of them is our own product photography, and we say so on the pages where they appear.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
